Portfolio Accountant The Opportunity We are looking for a Portfolio Accountant, working in the Real Estate industry in Boston, Massachusetts Is responsible for review of monthly property financial reports from operating partners for accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures. Is responsible for review of monthly property construction draws from operating partners for accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures. Is responsible for the compilation of investor reporting requirements, including all necessary supporting schedules. Assists in monitoring property cash flows and facilitating investment capital calls and distributions. Assists with accounts payable and other related corporate accounting matters. Assists with the provision of information to external auditors and tax preparers. Experience Required for Your Success Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, Master's degree, and CPA a plus. 3+ years relevant industry experience required, familiarity with NCREIF/PREA Reporting Standards, public accounting and/or senior housing operating experience a plus. Experience with real estate partnerships and waterfall structures a plus. Experience with Yardi accounting software a plus. Strong writing, presentation, and analytical skills.
