Tax Manager- $110,000 + Bonus (Hybrid)
Our client is a leading hedge fund manager with over $12 billion of net assets under management. The firm pursues investment strategies primarily within the global fixed-income markets with the objectives of capital preservation and absolute return without significant correlation to equity, interest rate, and foreign exchange markets.They are looking for a Tax Manager who is -responsible for accurately preparing and filing state and federal tax documents. Tax managers develop tax strategies and policies that help the client maintain compliance with local and federal tax laws and regulations.What's In It For You:

  • Managing members of the tax team as they prepare components of the company's US federal income tax return and other tax documents
  • Mentoring members of -the -tax team to greater levels of effectiveness and engagement
  • Facilitating the preparation and review -of -company federal tax returns and the accurate, timely filing of all tax forms.
  • Implementing strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxesQualifications:
    • BA degree in Accounting or Finance. Working towards a CPA or MST is preferred.
    • Extensive individual/corporate/partnership tax knowledge
    • Strong knowledge of tax codes, compliance, and procedures for corporations.
    • Superb organizational and interpersonal skills -
