Great vertical mobility and career growth potential Job Details Responsibilities Review all bid documents including drawings, specifications, pricing, bonds, insurance, and reporting requirements Prepare complete estimates covering all scopes of work for heavy civil and site development projects Perform detailed scope reviews with general contractors and stakeholders Estimate approximately one to two projects per week Coordinate with project managers to transition awarded projects into kickoff meetings Support project managers as needed through project closeout Analyze specialty trades, subcontractor pricing, and vendor quotes Ensure estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with project strategy Requirements 3 years of estimating experience in site work and heavy civil construction Combination of office and field experience totaling at least five years Proven experience bidding work in dense urban environments and surrounding suburbs Strong understanding of utilities, contaminated soils, and full scope site development High attention to detail with strong mathematical and analytical skills Ability to collaborate with project managers, vendors, and clients Flexibility with time commitments including occasional weekend work Nice to Haves Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline Experience estimating projects in downtown Boston markets Familiarity with CAD based takeoffs Experience using Primavera or Microsoft Project Prior use of Construction Link or similar estimating platforms Interested in hearing more?
