• Understand and fully support the Recovery Coach Model
• Provide service in a home-based or community-based setting
• Provide care coordination, advocacy, parenting skills and support, and recovery coaching to Recoverees enrolled in the program
• Participate in developing and implementing a parenting group that supports and promotes recovery
• Work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of program and individuals
• Maintaining strict confidentiality is a necessity in this position
• Other duties assigned as necessary to maintain the program operations of the Recovery Center.
  
  Requirements:
  Credentials/Qualifications--- High School Diploma/GED or above required--- Lived experience in sustained recovery is required --- Lived experience in parenting is required--- Strong people focus and orientation --- Must attend the DPH-BSAS 5-day Recovery Coach Academy and be pursuing CARC certification--- Ability to develop trusting relationships--- Respects and advocates for all paths to recovery--- Excellent organizational skills (oral and written) and the ability to excel at details, multi-tasking and working under pressure--- Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize is a position requirement--- Possess the ability to work in a face paced environmentBay State Community Services is committed to diversity, inclusion, and social justice.
