more secure world. The Air Defense Ground Equipment (ADGE)
Department leads mechanical design, development, and integration of
platform systems. This includes shelter systems, hardware
integration, cable & interconnections, as well as facility
development, and site integration. The department is comprised of
individuals with technical expertise and experience in hardware
design, integration, and production support. The ADGE department is
looking for a full-time Principal Mechanical Engineer to support
Patriot Missile major components and sub-assemblies, located in
Tewksbury, MA. This is an Onsite role What You Will Do Provide
technical and programmatic leadership on the Missile IPT
(Integrated Product Team) for the GEM-T program Manage and have
ownership of budget Make data-driven decisions on the direction of
the program Provide scheduling and staffing oversight to the
program Lead a team(s) with limited supervision and meet
commitments for assigned schedule, financial, and technical goals.
Lead and participate in peer reviews, help to resolve action items,
and conduct trade studies to make sound technical decisions. Mentor
and guide less experienced engineers. Perform mechanical design,
development, and documentation of components, sub-assemblies, and
major end items for defense system equipment in accordance with
system requirements Collaborate with other engineering disciplines,
non-technical disciplines, and suppliers to develop robust design
solutions and resolve technical challenges. Apply knowledge and
experience in technical problem solving and hardware development in
an engaged team environment. Qualifications You Must Have Typically
requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant
experience OR an Advanced degree in a related field and a minimum
of 5 years’ experience. Experience with designing and developing
mechanical and/or electrical equipment, preferably for use in
Military environments. Experience with bid/proposal efforts, Earned
Value Management (EVM), and/or Risk & Opportunity Management
Experience leading/managing teams Active and transferable U.S.

for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range
provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience
levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer,
