Job Description:
Liro Group, a well-established leader in engineering solutions,
headquartered in Syosset, NY, seeks a highly skilled and
experienced Director of Non-Destructive Testing to lead our
dedicated team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and enrich
the non-destructive testing (NDT) activities across various
high-stakes projects. Your mission will be to ensure the integrity
and safety of materials, components, and structures, while aligning
with Liro Groups commitment to innovation and sustainability in
enhancing urban infrastructure. Develop and implement comprehensive
NDT strategies and testing protocols to support project
specifications and requirements Manage the daily operations of the
NDT department, including budgetary responsibilities, staffing, and
workflow organization Collaborate with project managers and other
engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of NDT techniques
into project lifecycles Stay abreast of technological advancements
in NDT methods and tools, recommending and implementing
improvements when beneficial Assure compliance with all relevant
health and safety regulations, and industry standards Provide
expert interpretation of NDT results, crafting detailed reports and
making actionable recommendations to senior management and clients
Expertise in various NDT methods, including ultrasonic, magnetic
particle, radiographic, and visual testing Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills Proficient in NDT equipment and software
Excellent leadership and communication abilities Ability to manage
cross-functional teams and projects Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified in
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT Level III Certification preferred)
Membership in relevant professional bodies such as the American
Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT)
