welding jobs meet the required specifications and codes, promising
a challenging yet rewarding career path. Inspect welds for
workmanship, alignment, and dimensional accuracy according to
specifications and blueprints. Oversee and supervise all welding
activities to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal
regulations. Communicate effectively with construction management
teams and engineers on welding procedures and results. Apply
non-destructive testing (NDT) methods to evaluate weld properties
without causing damage. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry
trends and advancements in welding technologies and safety
standards. Prepare inspection reports and documentation as required
for quality assurance and compliance purposes. Educate and train
team members on best practices and safety protocols in welding.
Deep knowledge of welding techniques and metallurgy Proficiency in
applicable welding codes (AWS, ASME, ANSI, etc.) Experience with
non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques Strong attention to detail
and high precision in record keeping Ability to interpret
blueprints and technical documents Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Welding
Inspector (CWI) certification from the American Welding Society
(AWS) Other certifications in NDT techniques are highly valued
