Basic QualificationsThe successful DOD Data-at-Rest Account Manager will possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related discipline along with the following:5 years of direct customer interaction experience in support of the Department of DefenseDirect experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systemsFamiliarity with data storage technologies is a plus, but not requiredDemonstrable skill of being highly organized and a self-starterAdvanced working knowledge of windows applications (Excel, PowerPoint)Ability/desire to travel domestically 40% of timeAbility to thrive in a team environmentClear and concise communication skillsPrior military experience or familiarity with the DoDCandidates with an active TS/SCI security clearance are preferred but it is not required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.Responsibilities for this PositionGeneral Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS), a market leader and technology innovator, is seeking a talented Account Manager to join our team, to focus on maintaining and growing our Department of Defense customer base related to Type-1 data-at-rest products embedded in tactical platforms.
