The Opportunity
The Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for ensuring successful optimization, scaling and new innovation of the Teladoc Health portfolio of products. Focus will involve owning the analysis, coordination and delivery of the business line project and programs, along with other key initiatives as directed by the senior product operations team leadership. The Sr. Product Manager will manage the intersection between market environments, business needs, technology, provider engagement and user experience, and play a key role in the development and execution of Teladoc Health's product strategy for specific product lines.
Reporting to the Vice President of Provider Experience/Clinical Optimization, the Sr. Product Manager is a crucial position supporting Clinical Operations and as a senior leader is a key player in the successful development and delivery of business plans that will impact Teladoc Health's products.
Responsibilities



  • Collect and analyze usability, product performance, provider experience and user feedback to identify and recommend product strategy, enhancements, and efficiencies


  • Develop essential product documentation including Business Case, Business Requirements/ Product Specifications, problem statements, acceptance criteria and user cases


  • Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert in the assigned product area[s]


  • Lead along with the product leadership, facilitate cross functional requirements gathering and design sessions


  • Complete product documentation and summary material, including workflows and product guides


  • Develop and maintain operational metrics and financial reporting to accurately measure product performance (forecasted revenue, utilization, resource optimization, etc.)


  • Communicate progress on initiatives to various levels of the organization, including timelines, progress reports, status tracking, risk analysis and release notes


  • Work closely with the others on the Product Management team, Member Experience and key stakeholders to understand and fulfill the product vision and roadmap


  • Manage key project risks and issues, including appropriate escalation to Product Management leadership, Clinical Operations leadership and Executive sponsors as needed


  • Work collaboratively with the appropriate Business and/or IT leads to track implementation (including UAT, Deployment, sign-off of documentation, etc) of requirements


  • If and when business ownership "gaps" are identified, this role may be asked to fill those gaps until the correct business owner can be identified and trained


  • Proactively manage and prioritize the product backlog, release plans, and sprint backlogs according to business value, complexity, and expectations


  • Support internal departments such as sales, client management, clinical, operations enablement, and marketing with necessary product knowledge


  • Keep stakeholders involved by gathering input and communicating progress; demo incremental functionality internally to impacted areas


  • Track product success and future development opportunities

  • Support other development activities as directed by the senior team

    Candidate Profile


    • Experience creating and implementing business plans


    • Previous success in working with an Agile software development team


    • Previous success in product management or related experience in healthcare, with technology enabled services a plus


    • Experience with Agile development tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Airtable and Product Board


    • Experience working with remote teams


    • Expertise in relevant business software (PPT, Microsoft Access, MS project, Visio)


    • Exceptional written and oral interpersonal communication skills.


    • Experience creating and implementing business plans


    • Strong time management, prioritization and organizational skill; Project Management experience preferred


    • Direct hands on experience with writing user stories, backlogs, and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements.


    • Strong customer/end user orientation, with a data driven decision making approach


    • Ability to translate metrics into business decisions of importance and priorities


    • Comfortable with change and uncertainty


    • Comfortable working independently and communicating through multiple levels in the organization


    • Bachelor's degree


    • 5+ years' work experience in product marketing or product management


    • Experience in Telehealth preferred

    • Experience working with Insurance Companies, Medicare or Medicaid with technical solutions would be a strong plus

      The base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $155,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for performance bonus, RSU's, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2022. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
