Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: ARRT Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience in inserting Impella and IABP for scrubbing. Ability to work independently as a scrub and operate imaging equipment. Description: The role involves working from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with on-call responsibilities. Cath Lab Technicians will need to scrub and circulate cases. Familiarity with Philips and GE fluoroscopy systems is required. The role also includes experience with Impella and IABP insertion. Documentation will be handled using a Mac Lab system, although prior experience is not mandatory. Schedules are typically arranged in a 4x10 hour format. There is no floating policy. Advanced skills are required for procedures such as TAVR, LHC, RHC, PFO, PCI, ASD, Mitral Clip, and MEMs. A required uniform of scrubs will be provided. Call responsibilities consist of one day per week and approximately one weekend per month. Unit-specific guidelines and policies should be adhered to.
