hours (Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 5:30 PM) rotating call Overview: We
are seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a
dynamic imaging team. The technologist will perform clinical and
research nuclear medicine procedures, contribute to quality
assurance, and provide instruction to students and staff. This role
requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and
collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic
procedures (planar, SPECT, and SPECT/CT) according to exam
protocols. Evaluate the quality of imaging procedures and maintain
compliance with established standards. Perform quality control on
equipment as required by imaging manufacturers, radiation materials
license (RAM), or American College of Radiology (ACR). Work with
engineers and physicists to ensure optimal operational capabilities
of equipment. Administer therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures as
indicated. Provide clinical instruction to nuclear medicine
students and other personnel. Contribute to the development of
policies, procedures, standards, and quality assurance objectives.
Participate in rotating call coverage, including evenings,
weekends, and holidays. Call coverage includes: 24-hour coverage
for weekends (7:00 AM Saturday 7:00 AM Sunday) 14-hour coverage for
weeknights (5:00 PM 7:00 AM) Ensure accurate documentation and
adherence to safety and regulatory protocols. Required
Qualifications: Certification by the American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine. Strong
knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, quality assurance, and
imaging technologies (SPECT/CT). Proficiency with computer systems
and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of radiation safety, patient
safety, and HIPAA compliance.
