Job Description:
Catholic Medical Center invites applications for the role of
Hospital Laboratory Director. This pivotal position oversees the
operational, financial, and clinical aspects of our laboratory
services, ensuring alignment with our mission of delivering
exceptional care through cutting-edge medical and surgical
services. The successful candidate will lead the laboratory team,
implement new procedures, and ensure all health and safety
standards are met in delivering top-notch diagnostic services.
Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of the
laboratory. Develop, implement, and maintain procedures that
conform to health standards and regulations. Oversee the
recruitment, training, and development of laboratory staff. Manage
laboratory budgets and optimize resource utilization. Ensure the
accuracy and timeliness of all test results and analyses.
Collaborate with other department leaders to enhance overall
patient care. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technological
advancements and industry trends in laboratory services. Strong
leadership and organizational skills. Expert knowledge in clinical
laboratory procedures and regulations. Proficient in using
laboratory information systems and medical software. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to make strategic
decisions and problem-solve effectively. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Medical
Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or similar certification. Licensure as a
Clinical Laboratory Director or eligible for licensure in the state
where the facility is located.
