Job Description Job Description Catholic Charities is seeking
two Bilingual Clinician I or Clinician II for one of the CCBHC
sites located at Catholic Charities, Institute for Hispanic
Families. POSITION SUMMARY Clinician position within a CCBHC
integrated care location located at the Institute for Hispanic
Families in Hartford, CT. Clinicians work within a
multi-disciplinary treatment team that involves physical health and
mental health leadership. This position directly reports the IHF
Clinical Director. Clinicians will be assigned as the primary
clinician for a case load of adults and/or child clients and their
caretakers. Clinicians may be assigned open access biopsychosocial
evaluations, present cases to an integrated treatment team, develop
individualized integrated treatment plans, provide therapeutic
services of individual, group, and/or family services, refer cases
for case management or community based services, connect clients to
medication assisted therapy (MAT), and coordinate discharge
planning at time of goal achievement. The clinician is expected to
embrace the co-occurring treatment philosophy which integrates a
strength based, child/family centered, trauma informed, culturally
competent, and recovery oriented philosophy. GENERAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES Provide quality clinical services using CBT, DBT,
MI, EMDR, Solution-Focused, or other interventions to treat an
urban client population. Successfully engage clients in services as
demonstrated by client treatment completion rates, increased client
functioning and client achievement of treatment plan goals and
objectives. Conduct biopsychosocial evaluations, diagnose, create
clinical formulations, and create individualized treatment plans in
collaboration with the client. Demonstrate competence with behavior
modification, family systems, substance abuse, co-occurring
disorders and appropriate therapeutic techniques. Provide treatment
services appropriate to the personal and cultural identity and
language of the client. Consistently evaluates and update client
progress using standardized assessment measures. Present, document,
and relay case presentations to a multi-disciplinary treatment team
that includes medical and psychiatric providers and agency
leadership. Adhere to professional ethical and behavioral standards
of conduct to maintain professional standards and safeguard the
client. Provide advocacy services on behalf of client when
appropriate. Demonstrate respect and nonjudgmental attitudes toward
clients in all contacts with clients, community professionals and
agencies. Document within a EMR system all client services within
required timeframes according to agency policy and procedures.
Attend staff meetings, client team meetings, supervision, and
appropriate training sessions as scheduled. Maintain clinical
licensure if Clinician II and work towards licensure if Clinician
I. Accept and carry out other related duties upon request.
QUALIFICATIONS Clinician II-State of Connecticut Professional
License issued by the Department of Public Health related to
behavioral health (LCSW, LPC, and LMFT.), master’s degree in the
human services field and two plus years post graduate work.
Clinician I-State of Connecticut Department of Public Health
Associate credential required (LPC-A, LMFT-A) or LMSW to practice.
Candidate must meet certification and licensure standards
established by the State of Connecticut and the Council on
Accreditation. This position offers Bonus over a period of time.
