Encompass Health, a national leader in integrated healthcare services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Dietitian to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in providing top-tier nutritional counseling and dietary services to our diverse patient population, ensuring both facility-based and home-based care meets the highest standards of excellence in 42 states. As a Lead Dietitian, you will oversee dietetic staff, develop nutrition plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes through tailored dietary strategies. Oversee the nutrition care process for inpatient and outpatient services. Supervise and train dietetic staff to ensure quality in delivery of dietary services. Collaborate with medical teams to integrate dietary services with overall patient care plans. Conduct patient nutritional assessments and develop individualized dietary interventions. Monitor and evaluate treatment plans to measure progress and compliance. Participate in research and maintain current knowledge of nutrition and diet trends. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations concerning dietary services. Expert knowledge of clinical nutrition and dietary management. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze and integrate patient data to form effective nutrition plans. Proficient in use of dietary management software and patient records systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Board Certified Specialist in Gerontological Nutrition, Pediatric Nutrition, or similar (optional but advantageous).
