Job Description:
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced per diem Social
Worker for Inpatient Endocrinology. The Boston Children's Division
of Endocrinology treats those with thyroid disease, Addison's
disease, diabetes, and other endocrine disorders Key
responsibilities: - Provides clinical social work services to
assist patients and families with personal, family, medical and
environmental difficulties. - Performs psychosocial and risk
assessments, assigns diagnoses and develops and implements
interventions and treatment plans. - Participates in planning and
implementation of discharge and outpatient service plans and
collaborates with health care team and community agencies to plan,
implement and follow up on treatment and provision of needed
services. Minimum Qualifications Education: - Master’s degree in
social work Experience: - Social work experience in a hospital or
community health center is preferred - Excellent communication
skills, flexibility, team-oriented attitude, and ability to work in
fast-paced environment are essential. Licensure: - LCSW or LICSW in
the state of Massachusetts This is a per diem role, coverage for
weekends needed. This position is not benefits eligible The posted
pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith
expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer
provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications,
and a variety of other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of
