- Knowledge on Installation, maintenance and configuration of
tier I and tier II middleware components IBM WebSphere, WAS,
Client.
- Gathering requirements and project specifications in
coordination with project teams, and translating the business
requirements to technical requirements for server build.
- Preparing POC for server build and implementation.
- Proficient with JBoss Installation, Java EE architecture, JBoss
AS Structure and Architecture.
- Administration of Jboss 5x, 6.x 7.X.
- Proficient in JBoss Standard and Custom Configurations, JMX and
JBoss JMX Microkernel, JMX MBean Server, JBoss AS services and
service definitions.
- Proficient with Application server/web server build automation
through Puppet enterprise.
- Proficient with Java EE Security(Authentication, Authorization,
Identity, Security Roles, Web App Security Constraints), LDAP login
modules, Enabling SSL(HTTPS, RMI Over SSL (EJB usage), Other Uses
of SSL), Securing JBoss AS Services.
- Very good in troubleshooting JBoss AS issues, Multicast
issues.
- Knowledge on Installation, maintenance and configuration of
tier I and tier II middleware components Websphere, Apache, MQ
Series, Tomcat.
- Deployment of additional middleware components and
configuration subject to the project/application
requirements.
- Planning and execution Version Upgrade, migrations and applying
fix and patches.
- Cluster setup for Workload management (WLM) and high
availability.
- Proficient with Load Balancing and Fault Tolerance, State
Replication.
- Maintenance of middleware components by checking the server
logs and alerts on the System.
- Problem resolution and troubleshooting, including Information
collection, problem identification and analysis, identification of
solution or interim workarounds and RCA documentation.
- Deployment of applications or system changes as requested by
operations peers.
- Changes in Configuration setups.
- Optimization of parameter settings, including necessary changes
in parameter setting.
- Setting up health check, monitoring and alerting.
- Vendor coordination.
- Testing benchmark to be defined with the application
team.
- Performance Issue Analysis.
- Project specific SOP definition & creation.
