Position Details:
--- Title: Field Service Technician (Level I)
--- Location: Boston, MA
--- Travel/Schedule: You generally will be providing service to
customers in the Boston area; overnight travel is a rarity
--- Compensation: Target base rate -$24/hr - $25/hr with the
expectation to move into a Level 2 Tech role within a year or so
(which pays closer to $29/hr - $30/hr).
o Bonuses/Additional Compensation: Overtime is paid at 1.5X after
40 hours. You also are provided mileage reimbursement for local
travel.

Position Description: In this role you will provide installation,
troubleshooting, maintenance and repair services on company's Large
Format Printer Systems (LFS) equipment at customer sites in the
greater Boston area. Some specific responsibilities include:
--- Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system
failures using established procedures.
--- Service and repair designated equipment to company standards
and specifications.
--- Maintain working knowledge and aptitude of multiple product
groups. This includes basic aspects of troubleshooting and
diagnostics.
--- Meet and exceed customer demands by providing efficient,
responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on-site maintenance.
--- Properly maintain all technical information, Field Service
Reports, Expense Reports, and company property assigned.
--- Maintain all technical information and company property
assigned and provide direction to less experienced technicians.
--- Provide the solutions of escalated technical and/or customer
service-related problem areas for any territory requested.
In order to be successful in this role, you should have experience
with electronics and/or electromechanical systems. You must have an
understanding of and comfort navigating computer operating systems,
including the ability to configure and debug computer and
networking problems. You should have a clear ability to work with
electronic equipment such as volt meters, amp meters,
oscilloscopes, etc. And you must be service-minded and
customer-focused.
