Job Description Job Description Job Title: DevOps Engineer Location-Type: Hybrid (Negotiable on how much) - Danvers, MA Start Date Is: ASAP Duration: 6–12 months (Contract) Compensation Range: $65 - $90/hr Job Description: Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines supporting embedded medical device software in a regulated environment. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Architect and build CI/CD pipelines for embedded firmware (C/C ) development Create reproducible build environments (cloud and/or on-prem) Manage artifact repositories using Nexus or JFrog Lead DevOps tool migration efforts (GitLab, Jenkins) Implement build automation, versioning, and controlled release processes Support embedded development teams with pipeline integration Develop automation scripts using C, Python, and Bash Establish logging, monitoring, and infrastructure management solutions Troubleshoot build and deployment issues; conduct root cause analysis Mentor junior and mid-level engineers Requirements: Must-Haves: 5 years of DevOps experience Experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch DevOps experience in a regulated environment (medical device strongly preferred) Strong scripting in C, Python, and Bash Experience supporting embedded systems (firmware in C/C ) Artifact management experience (Nexus or JFrog) Infrastructure management experience Logging and monitoring implementation experience Strong OS-level experience (Linux, QNX, or other Unix-like systems) Experience with Jenkins and/or GitLab Nice-to-Haves: QNX experience (true standout candidate) Experience with controlled releases, validation documentation, and audit readiness processes
