Excellent opportunity for full or part-time employment at our Salon and Spa! Aveda Soma Salon and Spa is looking for skilled, personable, and responsible individuals to join our team. Front Desk Coordinators: Experience with Salon Target software a plus. Willing train the right candidate. Competitive compensation and excellent work environment. Must have great work ethic, be responsible, and be good with people. Stylist candidates must fit the following criteria: - Current Massachusetts cosmetology/barber license - 3+ years of professional hair stylist experience working in a high-end salon - High level colorist skill Requirements: - Responsible time management. You must be able to handle back to back clientele and sometimes multiple clients at once. - Responsible personal time management. When you come through the doors Soma Salon and Spa must be your priority. - Your work attendance is of utmost importance. - Willing to perform Aveda techniques. At Soma our clientele expect to receive hand and scalp massages as part of their hair service. These must to be performed. - Professionalism and positive personality is a must! When speaking to our clients we expect proper greeting and dialogue. - This is the beauty industry! We expect YOU to be the example for your clients. This means you MUST be fashion forward and groomed before coming in for your shift. Edgy styles are OK, we love a diverse staff!! - TALENT and PASSION!!!! Assembly Row is a bustling and growing residential, retail, office, and hotel development. Great opportunity exists to capture a whole new clientele from over the massive amount of traffic coming through daily! This is a rare opportunity for a stylist to be busy from day one!
