Job Description:
SummaryOur client is looking for an Application DBA for their
enterprise Data Warehouse. This resource will ensure that data is
distributed correctly, that queries are running correctly, and will
provide key support across all related projects. This person needs
to have experience with larger data warehouses, experience with
massive parallel processing environments, and experience with
Teradata and/or Exadata.ResponsibilitiesPerform day-to-day
operations for the enterprise data warehouse, including monitoring
and maintenance, as well as problem investigation and
resolutionReview data distribution to ensure the data is correctly
distributedReview SQL queries to ensure they are running correctly
and make any adjustments where neededProvide guidance to cross-team
and team members in data warehouse best practices and
proceduresAssist with key project activities where
neededQualificationsBachelor---s degree in Computer Science or
another fieldExperience with large data warehousesExperience with
massive parallel processing environmentsExperience with Teradata or
ExadataExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to
effectively collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.Strong
organizational and time management skillsAdaptable with the ability
to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven
environment
