Who we are looking for This role will provide the necessary
leadership, analysis and design tasks related to the development of
an enterprise's infrastructure architecture. This role will
establish Trusted Advisor relationships with key stakeholders and
contribute to the Infrastructure technology and Operations strategy
and transformation. It will align the services offering to the
business and overall company strategy. This role creates
deliverables that support the establishment of Target (Future
State) and Reference Architectures in support of our Enterprise
Architecture.The Infrastructure Architect facilitates and
orchestrates Applications, Data and Technology solutions to enable
the organization's future-state business capabilities to meet the
business targeted outcomes.What you will be responsible for As
Senior Infrastructure Architect you willDesign and implement
long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans for
managing and maintaining corporate technology and services.Document
the company's existing systems architecture and technology
portfolio; make recommendations for improvements and/or
alternatives.Ensure that proposed and existing systems
architectures are aligned with organizational goals and
objectives.Review new and existing system design projects and
procurement or outsourcing plans for compliance with standards and
architectural plans.Provide architectural expertise, direction, and
assistance to vendors, partners and internal teams.Develop,
document, and communicate plans for investing in Infrastructure and
systems architecture, including analysis of cost benefits and
reduction opportunities.Conduct research on emerging technologies
in support of the overall Infrastructure and systems development
efforts. Recommend technologies that will increase cost
effectiveness and systems flexibility.Develop and implement
required functional policies and procedures, including those for
network, server and storage architecture, standards, purchasing,
and service provision.Develop, document, communicate, and enforce a
policy for standardizing systems and software as necessary.Oversee
recommended technology and operations improvement
projects.Identify, recommend and oversee automation which allows
the IT function to scale with the business.Conduct research and
remain current with the latest technologies and solutions in
support of procurement efforts.What we value These skills will help
you succeed in this roleBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or
Information Technology;10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure
architecture and planning / development.Deep understanding of a
wide range of data center services, and products, including but not
limited to these key areas of focus:Virtualization (VMware,
KVM)Fundamental OS knowledge (Windows, Linux environments)Storage
and networkSecurityActive directoryHigh availability, Backup and
recoveryDisaster recoveryDatabasesSoftware defined servicesExposure
to ServiceNow, or similar ITIL and Service Management
platformsTechnical certifications in multiple areas is
desired.Familiarity with Architectural frameworks TOGAF, Zachman
etc.Familiarity with cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP,
containerization , CI/CD technologies etc)Project Management
experience is advantageous.Personal Attributes Strong leadership
skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to
lead projects and mentor team members based on leadership
guidelines.Ability to research and advise clients on best practices
in several areas of InfrastructureAbility to conduct and direct
research into IT issues and products as required.Ability to present
ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.Highly
self-motivated and directed.Keen attention to detail.Excellent
written and oral communication skills as well as proficient in the
use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint,
Visio)Education & Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in
Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent10+years of
experience in IT infrastructure engineering or architecture Why
