increasingly complex marketplace, SS&C Retirement Solutions
accelerates and enables opportunities for improving customer
engagement and transactions across all phases of retirement and
financial planning. Changing demographics, consumer demand for
control and increased regulatory burdens are compelling plan
providers, record keepers, TPAs, product providers, employers, and
asset managers to evolve with the shifting retirement industry.

integrated technology solutions and a differentiating user
experience across areas such as Plan Analytics, Financial Wellness
and Personalized Communications, Compliance and Fiduciary Services,
and Rollover Solutions. Role OverviewWe're looking for a dynamic
business development professional with 5+ years years experience in
the retirement industry. In this role, you'll create and execute a
territory development strategy that includes directs sales and
merchandising initiatives, targeting client/prospect, preparing
presentations, conducting client/prospect meetings, negotiating
contract terms and closing sales to meet the territory's revenue
and profitability targets. This position is remote currently and
will have regular travel when we are able to safely travel again.
You can be based out of any US office location when we can safely
- Relationship plans for existing clients in the Mid-Atlantic and
- Revenue expansion plans for business units of existing
- Non-client (prospect) development plans
- The territory development strategy details service activities,
product forecasts and revenue targets for each client and prospect
in the broker/dealer segment.
- Directs sales and merchandising initiatives, targeting
client/prospect, preparing presentations, conducting
client/prospect meetings, negotiating contract terms and closing
sales to meet the territory's revenue and profitability targets
established by the Vice President of Sales.
- Supervise revenue forecasts on a monthly basis and more
frequently as required by the Vice President of Sales.
- Support SS&C Retirement product development activities by
identifying key market trends and service needs of clients and
prospects and communicating product opportunities to Product and
- Bachelor's degree in business related field or equivalent work
- Five plus years of experience in the retirement industry. A
focus on selling Financial Wellness and Communication solutions,
Rollover technology, Retirement Analytics to record keepers and
plan providers, advisor and enterprise marketing segments.
Experience selling into the asset management, insurance, broker
dealer and banking verticals.
- Ability to recognize and understand a client or prospects goals
and objectives with experience crafting custom technology, content
& tool solutions to help meet these goals.
- Superior business development and client service skills,
including prospecting skills, excellent negotiation and problem
resolution skills are required to build and maintain prospect and
- Presentation and sales skills are required to grow revenue base
with existing clients and to support prospecting efforts.
- Strong knowledge and use of sales/ client CRM systems.
