A  top-ranked hospital in Boston is looking for a CIC prepared Infection Control Practitioner to join their dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Reporting directly to the Infection Prevention Manager, the Infection Preventionist will work to develop standards using epidemiologic principles that are in accordance with the prevention of the HAI. The Infection Prevention Nurse will work with administrative leaders and clinical leaders throughout the hospital to ensure that infection prevention measures are in place.The Infection Prevention RN will be working with Unit Managers and additional hospital personnel on implementing prevention measures hospital wide. It is critical that the Infection Preventionist work with healthcare team members to identify and manage any clusters and healthcare related events. These measures will ensure the safety of the hospital members in addition to the community members. 

Infection Control Practitioner will develop and implement core measures throughout hospital using statistical data and analysis. The Infection Prevention RN will work with the Infection Prevention Manager to create reports that provide analysis of any health care associated infections. The Infection Prevention Registered Nurse will work as an educator and mentor to staff members providing them with the necessary tools to create a healthy environment.

Located in Centrally, the Infection Preventionist will be living in a truly unique MA community. This town is most identified by its diverse population, grand old homes, proximity to Boston and its thriving arts community. The Infection Control Practitioner will have direct access to an art museum, live theaters, art galleries, a wide range of boutiques, vibrant downtown, restaurants, movie theaters, shops and nightlife that attract visitors from all over the region.

The medical center is looking to hire either a Registered Nurse or a Clinical Life Scientist as their next Inpatient Infection Preventionist. This job requires a healthcare professional with a strong background in infection prevention who is looking to take on a wide range of responsibilities, all of which will prepare them for a leadership role.
