*The Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS)* is the largest Secretariat in MA state government, comprised of 16 agencies with over 20,000 employees statewide. EOHHS is seeking to hire an *IT Process Coordinator* who will be mainly responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and documenting project oversight and governance for IT applications within the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services. The primary work location for this role will be located at *100 Hancock Street, Quincy, Massachusetts 02171.* The work schedule for this position is *Monday thru Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM EST.* This position would be expected to follow a hybrid model of reporting to work that combines in-office workdays and work from home days as needed. *Schedules are subject to change based on the operational needs of the business. *Additional Responsibilities and Duties:* * Innovate and drive the Agency's evolution towards DevOps and Agile Transformation * Manage a well-defined project management process and champion ongoing process improvements initiatives * Facilitate Agile adoption by promoting use of Azure Dev Ops as a project management tool * Articulate the vision of the IT Process controls and compliance team, and document related updates in the IT Process Controls guide * Champion for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) based application development, and expand awareness, knowledge, and experience on automation within CI/CD pipelines * Leverage organizational resources to improve capacity for project work, and monitoring and developing team members * Support the project managers in managing business expectations for product deliverables, manage stakeholder communications, and help implement an effective system of project governance * Review documentation and project readiness prior to a Project review, code drop, Go No Go, & maintenance review to meet the Project management standards set * Prepare a detailed Project review summary after every project review * Perform a twice weekly review of application development and testing with stakeholders * Liaise with Project leads and release management team on deployment efforts, issues, and concerns * Serve as the point of contact for application/project teams, IT Process Controls, Release Management, and Quality Assurance teams * Assist QA team with testing efforts and answer questions from test team about deployments and timelines * Gather known issues list for Intake meetings - Functional, Performance, Security, and ADA defects - and capture feedback (included in release, not included, etc.) * Report and track waivers and other exceptions to process * Coordinate "lessons learned" reviews as needed for postmortem review of releases, seeking QA improvement opportunities * Track functional and technical defects for traceability and statistical analysis/trending. * Review staff allocations and cross training plans from a project perspective to help ensure adequate staffing is aligned with business expectations * Review project and delivery risk from a QA perspective, tracking schedule shifts, training needs, equipment, and environment/network considerations *Preferred Experience, Skills & Knowledge:* * At least 5 years of professional experience in Information Technology working as a project coordinator * Ability to champion IT process transformation and ongoing improvement * Extensive knowledge and/or expertise in the use of Agile project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques * Strong knowledge and hands-on experience using project management tools such as JIRA, RQM, Azure Dev Ops, PPM, MS Project * Strong understanding of the macro delivery process to create reporting and analysis capabilities * Excellent communication and presentation skills to speak clear and concise in regular conversation with your team, and the wider stakeholder groups * Demonstrated success working across organizations in highly cross-functional team environment *Education and Certifications: * * Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Systems, or other related engineering field, or equivalent related work experience. *_Pre-Offer Process:_* A criminal background check will be completed on the recommended candidate as required by the regulations set forth by the Executive Office of Health and Human Services prior to the candidate being hired.
