* Systems Analyst Consultant * Quincy, Massachusetts* * * Systems Analyst Consultant (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Quincy, Massachusetts)(mult. Openings): As a member of the Application Development & Maintenance (ADM) Architecture (MTeX) team at State Street, the Systems Analyst Consultant will contribute and grow within a diverse team of integration architects, developers, and technologists. The Systems Analyst Consultant will develop integration solutions and services using premier technology platforms like IBM WebSphere Message Broker (WMB) and IBM WebSphere MQSeries (WMQ) within a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Specific duties of the position will include: Developing MTeX integration solutions and services; evangelizing MTeX service offerings with our various businesses, other IT areas and our clients; creating and maintaining Functional Specifications, Release Notes, Production Implementation Plans, etc.; and providing 24/7 Level 4 support as part of the CORE MTeX team to support our global platforms and our various global business areas that leverage our solutions and services.Minimum requirements are: Bachelors degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; and 5 years of hands-on experience in middleware and enterprise messaging development.Must have: Experience in developing integration solutions using IBM WebSphere Message Broker (v8 and above), and IBM WebSphere MQSeries (v7.5 and above); experience developing code in Java and/or ESQL and knowledge of C++; experience using UNIX and shell scripting; proven understanding of different transmission protocols; experience of vendor products like Secure Transport, Fix Engine, SWIFT Alliance Access/Gateway, and NDM; experience with SWIFT (ISO15022, ISO20022), Financial Products Markup Language (FpML), Financial Information Exchange (FIX), Intermediate Document (IDOC) and XML, SOAP, and JSON; and proven understanding of Service Oriented Architecture.
