* Application Development/Maintenance * Quincy, Massachusetts* * * Application Development/Maintenance (State Street Bank and Trust Company; North Quincy, Massachusetts): State Street Financial Information Delivery team is focused on delivering custom solutions as well as implementing many vendor products to support our Corporate Finance, Global Procurement, and Global Treasury business units. The Application Development/Maintenance is a senior Summit developer position performing various development and regulatory initiatives and Business needs tasks using Summit, C++, and Oracle PL/SQL and other technologies and tools. Specific duties include: Building and developing comprehensive solutions to finance and regulatory requirements using Summit Trading application, C++, C#, .Net, PL/SQL, scripting (shell, Perl) using middleware such as CORBA, ORBIX and Tomcat; analyzing, designing and developing to meet multiple requirements per the business needs, to cater various finance and treasury reporting needs by using Summit; high level of proficiency with Summit Tool, coupled with PL/SQL skills; supporting Market Data analysis from sources like Bloomberg and Reuters to integrate Summit application; experience in the implementation of the Summit upgrade process from 5.7 to 6.x; experience in the implementation of Front-end and Back-end applications in Summit to support various business needs; experience in the Implementation of Market data curves like MTM and CME in Summit for valuing Interest Rate Derivative positions; experience in the implementation of Swift messages like MT 200, MT 210, MT 100 using Summit application; experience in the implementation of regulatory and compliance reports like SIMM, Volcker and Dodd Frank using Summit application; experience in the implementation various interest rate curves like SOFR, OIS, LIBOR, EURIOBOR, SONIA etc. for valuating interest rate derivatives; designing and developing source code with data validation, load processes, test cases. Build scheduler jobs for automation; and supporting custom enhancements to Summit trading platform.Minimum requirements are: Bachelors degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; and 8 years of experience developing and designing professional software for financial services industry.Must have: Proven industry experience with Summit Derivative trading platform; proven fixed income derivatives deployment experience Using Summit Trading system; development experience in regulatory rules like Initial Margin, Dodd-Frank and Volker; development experience in Summit Front-end and Back-end applications; demonstrated experience in C++, C#, .Net, PL/SQL; demonstrated experience with Summit trading systems; proven ability to work within a fast-paced environment; and demonstrated experience performing product gap analysis and specifying customization scope to enhance pre-built module capabilities.
