Topco Associates is currently seeking a Senior Sourcing Analyst for the Indirect Spend team in Quincy, MA. We are currently operating in a primarily remote-work setting as we continue to prioritize the wellbeing and safety of our associates. In the future, this position will convert to a hybrid role, with the successful candidate conducting work in our Quincy office and virtually. Our offices remain open now for associates to use on a voluntary basis.

The Senior Sourcing Analyst will lead project initiatives with representatives from our customer organizations to source indirect products/services that fall under Hired Services & Facilities (e.g. uniform rental, recycling, maintenance, etc.). They will be tasked to develop strategies to successfully source and manage programs on behalf of member customers via the sourcing methodology and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve business processes and efficiencies.

Responsibilities
Sourcing / Project Management
Manage sourcing initiatives from inception through contract lifecycle
Develop and distribute RFPs and RFIs to potential vendors
Negotiate price and contract terms with suppliers through traditional means and reverse auctions
Analytics
Provide in-depth data analysis throughout sourcing process, identify gaps and areas of commonality, and review with clients
Develop commodity expertise through extensive market research and analysis
Relationship Management
Develop and manage supplier / vendor relationships
Develop and present initiative results analysis and communications to stakeholders
Manage contracts from development stage to implementation, ensure pricing and terms compliance through the multi-year project
Provide continuous improvement opportunities with both member and supplier/vendor stakeholders
Business Development
Collaborate with account management / program management to promote new and existing programs
Assist with sales tracking, preparation of annual sourcing plans and business reviews

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree required
MBA or other advanced degree in Business preferred, but not required
Previous Experience:
2 - 4 years in project management / business management / business analytics
Sourcing management, procurement management, commodity management preferred
Strong sense of responsibility and ownership of projects
Business development/sales/consulting experience
Distribution and/or packaging supplies experience.
Market / supplier analysis, experience in grocery or other retail industry a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Advanced spreadsheet knowledge in excel, along with Access and PowerPoint
Strong attention to detail
Customer service excellence
Negotiation skills
Travel approximately 10-15% (when restrictions are lifted)
