Job Description Title: Business Analyst - Application Support Location: Quincy, MA Duration: Long Term Renewable Contract Hours: SUMMARY (Job Overview): DCF is looking to fill a Business Analyst - Application Support position. This individual would provide tier 1 and tier 2 support for user of DCF's i-FamilyNet application. This individual would be expected to become a subject matter expert for select business processes and to take responsibility for managing data quality tickets from field users. Managing tickets includes contacting users for additional information and notifying them when their issue is resolved. Additional responsibilities to assist in the documentation and retesting of software fixes as well as implementation support and enhancements to existing functions are also critical for this position. JOB DUTIES: You will use your knowledge and specialized skills to implement technical solutions and provide high quality support for DCF Applications Provides support of incoming tickets, including extensive troubleshooting tasks, with responsibility for multiple features and services Ability to work, prioritize and make decisions independently in a fast-paced environment Collaborating with internal teams or vendors to execute projects Ability to prioritize work based on the Agency and Business's objectives Collect necessary files/data from the customer, analyze the root cause of any reported issue, and find the solution to fix it. A case can be escalated to the engineering team. Identify root-causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies. Minimizes disruption to users' work activities by taking personal responsibility and accountability for work undertaken, resolving incidents, and carrying out service requests in a timely manner, ensuring planned work is communicated in advance Collect customer feedback and open issues, feedback them to the DCF IT DEV team REQUIRED SKILLS: Expertise in using Oracle RDBMS SQL & PL/SQL, TOAD, SQL Developer. Experience with the incident management systems such as Remedy/ServiceNow. Possess excellent organizational, presentation and customer service skills Possess excellent problem-solving, analytical and time management skills Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to work well within a team and project environment.
