Job Details The compensation consultant is responsible for managing the compensation function. The compensation consultant assists in planning, developing and implementing new and revised compensation programs, policies and procedures to align with the company's goals and competitive practices. This position is also responsible for ensuring that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations. Responsibilities/Essential Duties Oversees the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs. Including survey participation, salary structure development, pay program administration and other associated initiatives. Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives. Oversee Fidelity Equity Administration and process for new grants, award vesting's, appropriate tax rate input on equity awards and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Provides advice to corporate staff on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations / descriptions. Oversees the participation in salary surveys and monitors salary survey data to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved. Complete compensation research and or/ analysis projects, as assigned. Assist in responding to industry surveys. Inputting data into PayFactors to keep up to date compensation materials for use in pricing and salary structure review. Assist in creation and review of compensation communication materials. Create, maintain, and update documentation of process flows, administrative and standard operating procedures. Ensures compliance with federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations. Will have a direct report. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, training and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Requirements Bachelor's Degree required 4-6 years experience required Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) highly desired Knowledge of Workday, Payfactors, and Fidelity (or other) equity administration platforms a plus Ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional team environment Proficiency of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access & PowerPoint); Advanced Excel including pivot tables and formulas
